Who Will Get ₹2000 and When Will It Come PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of the most ambitious schemes launched by the Central Government to support farmers across India. Through this scheme, lakhs of eligible farmers receive direct financial assistance to ease their farming-related expenses. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, a financial aid of ₹2000 is transferred directly to the bank accounts of farmers every four months.
Till now, 19 installments have already been successfully credited, and now, the government is all set to release the 20th installment very soon. As per the latest updates, the ₹2000 amount for the 20th installment is expected to be released in July 2025, though the official date has not yet been announced.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2025
As mentioned above, under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a sum of ₹2000 is credited to the farmer’s bank account every 4 months. While ₹2000 may not be a huge amount considering the rising cost of agriculture, it still provides much-needed relief and timely support for small and marginal farmers.
With this amount, farmers can purchase essential items related to farming. The annual financial aid of ₹6000 helps them buy seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural tools. Generally, this money is credited before the sowing seasons of Rabi and Kharif crops, helping farmers prepare in advance.
20th Installment of PM Kisan Yojana 2025
As already discussed, the 20th installment is expected to be credited in July 2025 through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). The government will soon upload the updated beneficiary list and status on the official portal.
Only those farmers who have:
- Completed their eKYC
- Linked their bank account with Aadhaar
- Activated DBT service
When Will the ₹2000 Amount Be Credited?
Ideally, the 20th installment was expected by June 20, 2025, but due to technical delays, the amount has not yet been disbursed. Reports suggest that the authorities are strictly verifying documents and cross-checking eligibility to ensure only genuine farmers receive the benefit.
Hence, only those who fulfill all the eligibility criteria will be declared as valid beneficiaries under the scheme. Ineligible farmers are being excluded, causing a slight delay in the disbursement process. However, it is now expected that the ₹2000 installment will be credited to farmers’ bank accounts by the last week of July 2025.

Once the ₹2000 amount is credited, farmers can easily check their status online by visiting the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

- You will see your status and the installment payment update.
